The first salmonella infected tomato case has been reported in Tennessee today. A Williamson County man has become infercted from eating a tainted tomato. The tomato was not grown in Tennessee.

This is what happens when poultry manure is used for fertilizing and runoff from meat and dairy factory farms is allowed to contaminate water supplies. Far too many farmers don’t care what happens to the waste from their productions, only their bottom line. This is a great argument for the case of not eating meat and dairy. When the production of meat goes as far to contaminate the foods which should always be safest something has to be recognized and resolved.
