Another VegNews Giveaway

June 6th, 2012

VegNews Magazine

Where do you got your cutting edge vegan info?  Twitter?  Facebook?  Various vegan blogs?  The magazine stand at your local bookstore?  If you answered the latter then you’re likely a regular peruser of the pages of VegNews magazine.  You may remember a giveaway here on Nashveggie.com a few months back for a 1-year subscription to what is the vegan handbook.  At the time I said I would be doing another giveaway soon and the time has come.

Up for grabs is a 1-year subscription to VegNews magazine.  All you have to do is leave a reply to this article with why you are vegan or vegetarian. Maybe you’re considering the move to vegan or vegetarian ways. Those ideas are eligible as well.  I’m not asking for an essay, though you’re welcome to write one, but make it good. Instead of the randomness of the random website everyone uses for their giveaways I’m having an impartial panel pick a winner from the entries.  Leave a legitimate email address with your entry so I can contact you or I’ll have to move on to someone else. You don’t want to miss out!  A winner will be chosen on June 22nd.

Noodles & Company – Free Noodles!

June 21st, 2011

Noodles and Company

I wrote a review a few weeks ago of the newest Noodles & Company location at Green Hills. If you’ve visited and have discovered a favorite dish let me know. Is it customized or off the menu?  Do you have an idea for a new vegan menu item?  To win a free bowl at Noodles & Company (any location) you need to do two things: 1. Follow me on Twitter or use a valid email address so I can let you know if you win.  2. Post your dish or menu addition in the comments to this post and include your Twitter username (if applicable) in the comment.   I’ll choose 6 commenters at random for a free noodle bowl. Be sure to elaborate and be creative with what the menu gives you to work with.  I’ll pick the winners Monday, June 27th.

How about a Cheezy Mac Bowl with TVP crumbles in a vegan cheeze sauce? Sound simple enough? I could go for that.
