Cheese is a hard one to phase out, especially that dang white cheese dip at Las Palmas. I've had to actually stay away from the restaurant in order to not eat that stuff. Now that I have a yucky visual, perhaps it'll be easier?

I'm still phasing out cheese and working hard to get rid of all animal rennet cheeses altogether, but it's difficult sometimes. Not from lack of willpower, but from lack of options when eating, particularly for catered work functions and work dinners. Still, it's something I aspire to and I feel like every little bit I cut out is progress. Working on a mac and cheese recipe with nooch now. When I have the time to invest in it, of course!

Yuk!!!! I'm so glad I don't eat that crap anymore! I love FYH too, but I'm dying to try Teese! I tried to order some from Vegan Esstentials, but they were out...grrr.

BTW, do you know any good omni restaurants with vegan options in Nashville? I'm going to be there this weekend (my boyfriend lives there), and though I've been to the Veggie Cafe, had the tempeh reuben at Mellow Mushroom, and tried the veggie burger at the Parco, but I'm trying to find a good spot that my omni boyfriend and I can agree on. Any suggestions?

I've had the Follow Your Heart cheddar before and it really is quite good. Still, it's hard to give up cheese. I've been trying my best to make sure I'm staying away from animal rennet ever since the other day when I found out what it was. I'm still all :( :( :( about that.

Thankfully, I know a lot of great vegetarian and vegan bloggers to read and find out more about all this. :) Thanks for all the info!
